At Vidyakalash High School, our Scout & Guide troop believes in taking continuous action. Our calendar is packed with rich, skill-building activities designed to mold responsible, capable, and compassionate citizens. These activities form the bedrock of our scouting curriculum, ensuring every scout develops practical life skills along with a deep sense of social responsibility.
Annual State Level Camps
A rigorous multi-day outdoor survival camp where scouts test their leadership, endurance, and wilderness skills. These camps feature challenging night treks, obstacle courses, and inter-troop competitions that build unshakable team spirit and resilience.
Community Service & Outreach
Our troop actively leads tree plantation drives, Swachh Bharat cleanliness campaigns, and public health awareness rallies. We regularly organize blood donation camps and collaborate with local authorities to manage crowds during regional festivals.
Advanced Skill Badges
Scouts undergo intensive training to earn specialized proficiency badges including First-Aid and CPR, Map Reading & Orienteering, Pioneering (bridge building), advanced Knotting, and Signaling (Morse code and Semaphore).
Disaster Management Drills
Preparedness is key. Our troop undergoes practical mock drills for disaster response, including fire safety, flood rescue operations, and emergency evacuation protocols, equipping them to assist their communities in crisis situations.
